This incident occurred on Friday 10th May 2024 at Ewlitodzi Voter Registration Center.

According to Mr. Agbavitor, these individuals, purportedly affiliated with Amewu, have reportedly engaged in aggressive behavior, including vandalizing vehicles belonging to NDC supporters at the registration center.

But the Hohoe constituency chairman said he didn’t see Hon Peter Amewu at the scene at the time NPP supporters were causing the violence.

In addition to these allegations, Mr. Agbavitor expressed concern over potential double registration, pointing fingers at NPP’s National Communication Director, Mr. Richard Ahiagba.

He called for a thorough investigation into Ahiagba’s voting history in the 2020 elections to ascertain the validity of his voter registration.

Highlighting the intensity of the voter registration process, Mr. Agbavitor emphasized that only areas like Hohoe and Ketu South seem to be experiencing significant activity.

He urged eligible citizens, particularly those aged 18, to participate in the registration process, emphasizing the importance of voting in the upcoming December 7 elections to effect change and remove what he referred to as an “incompetent government” from power.
